Yes. It's free, with no ads and no daily limits. Every feature on this page is included.
When can I get it?
Now, in your browser at app.splitkia.com, on iPhone, iPad and computers. The Android app is coming soon to Google Play. Want it early? Email [email protected] to join the test.
Is there an iPhone app?
Use Splitkia in Safari at app.splitkia.com — tap Share → Add to Home Screen to use it like an app.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Add, edit and settle with no signal. Changes sync on their own when you're back online.
Does Splitkia move my money?
No. It never holds, sends or receives money. It opens PayPal, Monzo or a UPI app with the amount filled in, or you mark it as cash.
How can I split an expense?
Equally, by exact amounts, by percent or by shares, with one or several payers. Splits always add up to the exact amount.
What happens to the leftover penny?
It goes to someone by a fixed rule, so every device agrees and the split adds up exactly. On repeating bills it takes turns.
Which currencies does it support?
Every currency, with the right decimals. Each group has one currency. Home shows your overall total in your home currency, converted at daily rates for display only.
What are repeating bills?
Expenses that add themselves weekly, every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks, monthly or yearly. Skip, pause, resume, end or edit future bills.
What is a payment plan?
A way to pay back a debt in fixed instalments, with progress and due dates. You record each payment with one tap; nothing is paid automatically.
Do my friends need the app?
Yes, everyone in a group uses Splitkia, in the Android app or in a browser, and signs in with Google. Share a link, a QR code or send a Gmail invite.
Will it remind me when something is due?
If you want. In the Android app, turn on a phone reminder for any repeating bill or payment plan (the web version has no reminders). You can also send a friend a nudge with your payment link.
Is my data private?
Yes. Data on your phone or in your browser is encrypted, there are no ads and your data is never sold. Analytics are off unless you opt in, and the web version has none. Only group members see a group.
Can I get a copy of my data, or delete it?
Yes. Email [email protected] and we send you a copy of everything (JSON) within 30 days. Delete your account in the app or the web app, on the delete account page or by email.
How do I sign in?
With your Google account, in one tap. No passwords.
